Terms & Conditions

1. Everything is made to order

Have a Tee does not sell blank garments. Every item is decorated to your specification (your text or your artwork) after you order. Because of this, production starts as soon as your order is approved and items cannot be resold.

2. Returns, exchanges and refunds

Decorated (customized) garments are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged, including for size, colour choice, or a change of mind. Please check the size chart on each product page before ordering — measurements are the manufacturer's finished garment measurements.

We will remake or refund an item if it is defective, damaged in production, or does not match the approved design. Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with photos; we will respond within 2 business days. Slight variation in print placement (up to 2″) and colour (fabric dye lots, screen vs. print colour) is normal and not a defect.

3. Artwork and your responsibility

• You confirm you own or have permission to use any logo, image, name or text you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or contain unlawful content. You are responsible for its content; we may decline to print anything we consider infringing, offensive or unlawful.
• Artwork must be at least 100 dpi at the printed size. The Design Studio blocks lower-resolution files; if you have no better file, contact us and we will advise on options (some artwork can be redrawn for a fee).
• We review every order before production (free design review). We may contact you about resolution, transparency, print size or colour issues. Approved artwork is printed as supplied — spelling and layout included.
• You keep the rights to your artwork. You grant Have a Tee a licence to use it solely to produce your order and, unless you ask us not to, to show the finished item as an example of our work.

4. Pricing and approval

• Prices are in Canadian dollars. A "From" price on a product is the cheapest size and colour of that garment plus the smallest DTF print for one piece ($9.14) — the least anyone can pay for that item, because we do not sell blank garments. The Design Studio then prices your actual design live; for DTF that is the price you pay, plus applicable taxes and shipping.
• Embroidery prices shown online are estimates. Stitch count depends on the final digitized design. After we review your order we confirm the final embroidery price by email. If it is higher than the estimate we will ask for your approval before stitching; if you do not approve, we cancel and refund the order in full. We never charge more than the estimate without your approval.
• No minimum quantity, but a minimum charge per design: $8.00 for a DTF print and $15.00 for embroidery, per print area, per order. One piece with a small design simply pays the minimum; larger quantities are priced per piece and the minimum stops mattering. Screen printing and bulk orders (100+ pieces) are quoted separately on request; a screen-print quote includes a one-time screen setup fee per colour and a minimum quantity per design.
• Quantity pricing applies to the same design on the same order; splitting quantities across orders resets the pricing tier.

5. Order status and cancellation

Orders move through four stages: Order placed → Approved → Shipped → Delivered. You can cancel for a full refund any time before the order is marked Approved. Once approved, production has started and the order cannot be cancelled or changed.

6. Turnaround and shipping

Typical production is 2–4 business days for DTF, 3–5 for embroidery and 5–7 for screen printing (quoted orders), after approval. Turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees; large orders, complex artwork, supplier stock and peak seasons can extend them. Orders are shipped within Canada. Standard shipping is free on orders of $200 or more shipped within Ontario (after discounts, before taxes); elsewhere in Canada shipping is charged at the rate shown at checkout. Shipping times are the carrier's and are added to production time. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the carrier; we will help with carrier claims.

7. Garments

We source blank garments from the brands' authorized Canadian distributors. If a colour or size becomes unavailable after you order, we will offer the closest alternative or a refund for that item. Garment colour on screen may differ from the actual fabric.

8. School and group stores

School stores are operated by Have a Tee on behalf of the school named on the store. The school's logo is used with its permission. Where a fundraising percentage is shown, it is paid to the school by Have a Tee and is not an additional charge to you.

9. Care

Wash inside out in cold water, tumble dry low or hang dry, and do not iron directly on the decoration. Damage from incorrect care is not a defect.

10. Legal

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada. Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms; the version in effect when you order applies to that order.
